1.Why 1688-FREE?
There are other companies providing similar services with different numbers, but the international connection qualities vary according to their service providers; with 1688-FREE you can be sure of high quality international calls.

2. How is this service possible without paying for the international charge?
Since you still have to pay for the local cost of the call, we have arranged a commission payment with your service provider. We pay the international charge from the commission and since the international connection fee is lower than the mobile charge, we don’t lose money.

3. Which countries can I call using this service?

1688-FREE provides you with high quality unlimited calling to nearly 20 countries around the world for free.

The countries we currently serve are the United States, Canada, China, Hong kong, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom, Germany, France,Italy, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, Island, Taipei and for Australia, land lines only.

4.Is there any limit on the duration of the calls?

No, our free international calls are unlimited.

5. Are there any hidden charges?

No, there is no hidden charges. You will pay the local charge only.

6.Do I get to pay more for the local mobile charge?

No, the cost of the call is the same to any other local number.

7. I’m using a pre-paid phone. Can I still use the service?

Yes, you can still use our service; but keep in mind the cost of local calls on prepaid phones is very high.

We recommend you to sign up for a contract phone instead. If you don’t have one, we can help you get one, contact us.

8. Is there a way I can use this service more economically?

There are flat-fee monthly plans that you could sign up for and get cheaper rates with those plans.

9. How can I register a speed dial with my frequent numbers?

  1. Enter 1688-3733 in your mobile and press “p”
  2. Dial the country area + area code + phone number and save it.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each one of the numbers you want to save.
  4. That’s it, you are done!

10. I’m not getting through with my calls, is there an error?

Make sure you drop the 0 in the area code or any mobile prefix after the area code.
